Description

This education leads to a master’s degree from a university of applied sciences, and consists of 60 credits. The degree programme is realised as multiform studies over the course of three terms. The programme is mainly aimed at professionals who are already working in the field, who may come from a diverse range of backgrounds.

Design is one of the central processes in innovation. Design and planning serve as the foundation for the creation of products and services, and are the most important factors for determining the life cycle of a product. It’s been calculated that 80 percent of a product’s impact on the climate and 90 percent of the manufacturing costs are directly caused by decisions that were made during the design process. Sustainability should be seen as a question of democracy. This means that one of the goals of this education programme is to democratise knowledge about sustainability and circular design.
