Compulsory presence at practical exercises
Quantitative methods: based on the written assignment, the student's ability to understand and apply fundamental statistical concepts, and to perform a statistical analysis, is evaluated.
Nursing theory: the written work (PP) is assessed 1-5
Qualitative methods: the individual data collection (interview) and the data analysis done in groups is assessed according to a score scale published on Moodle

Quantitative methods: written assignment (graded according to the scale 1-5)
Nursing theory: written assignment done individually or in pairs graded according to the scale 1-5
Qualitative methodology: individual exercise in data collection and group work in data analysis graded according to the scale 1-5
The students make an interview on a common topic
Quantitative method: the assignment has to be submitted within a month after the end of this part of the course
Nursing/ midwiery or Public health theory: evaluation of written assignment (PP) and presentation at seminar.

Lectures:
Nursing/midwifery/ public health theory + qualitative method 2x 4h + 4h practical exercises + 4h seminar theory
Nursing theory is 1cr which is equivalent to 27 hours of which 6h are scheduled lectures and seminars and the rest is the students' own work
Qualitative research methodology is 2½ cu which is equivalent to 67 hours work of which 20h are scheduled lectures and seminars and the rest is the students' own work
Quantitative research methodology is 2 cr which is equivalent to 54 hours work of which 12 are scheduled lectures and seminars and the rest is the students' own work. assignment is submitted on a agreed date after the lectures.

Quantitative methods: the student does not understand and cannot apply statistical concepts and cannot perform an adequate statistical analysis.
Nursing theory: The written work is not submitted on time and / or the work is not presented at scheduled time for seminar
Qualitative methodology: Data collection is not done / incorrectly performed. The student has not participated / contributed to the joint group work in data analysis
Quantitative methods: notable weaknesses are found in the student's understanding and application of statistical concepts, or the statistical analysis is not adequately performed.

Quantitative methods: the student predominantly demonstrates a good understanding of and can apply statistical concepts, and only minor errors are found in the statistical analysis.
