The course is a continuation of the course Monitoring of Aquatic Bodies 1. The course is spread out during the year, so that we can follow the development in a specific lake and a sea beach, Knipan. We will take samples in the field and consider what the results tell us. The course also includes lectures and group work.
Visits to institutions that conduct water monitoring in Finland are scheduled throughout the course.
Attendance to all classes (lectures) and field trips are mandatory.
