- Students write an individual academic paper
- In the academic paper, students answer the given questions in continuous text
- The text must be processed. It must not contain copied text. The author must express the theory that has been discussed on the local study sessions and in the written sources in his own words
- Students must refer to at least 3 books and 3 electronic sources
- Sources must be reliable, up-to-date and relevant
- Students should follow Novia's writing instructions
- Citation in the text and source list
- The learning diary should cover 7-9 pages of text
- During the writing process, students will be divided into pairs and the couples will encourage and comment on each other’s texts’
- More detailed instructions for the learning diary are published on Moodle

Small group work 1 ECTS, 27 h
- Small group work is about reading texts that you receive in advance, reflecting on what has been learned, formulating questions, and discussing in the small group based on the texts.
- Participation in small group meetings is compulsory. If you are unable to participate, you should compensate by submitting a written summary of the insights you have gained by reading the texts that you receive in advance. The compensation must be at least 2 pages of processed text, which you submit to the small group supervisor.
- It is very important to come well prepared for a small-group meeting. Poor preparation can also prompt compensation.
- Students and supervisor give feedback to each other during the small group meetings

- Students do two individual exposure walks in the same area
