Course content
Practical training:
- Performing capillary puncture
- Performing POC; EKG, hemoglobin, CRP, Cholesterol, INR, glucose, Urine dipstick
- Performing phlebotomy
- Performing microbiological sample collection; group A Streptococcus, Influenza, blood culture
- Storage and transportation of collected samples
- Using and maintenance of laboratory equipment; Personal protective equipment, pipettes and centrifuges
Theory, before any practical exercises are performed necessary theory will be reviewed:
- EKG
- Repetition of preanalytical, analytical, and post-analytical phases (patient preparations)
