Individual assignments:
1. History of Midwives
2. Reflection about communication and ethics
3. Choose an optional fiction book that is in any way about a woman's / women's life. Read the book and consider the following questions:
Where in life is the woman?
What is her situation?
What problem does the book deal with and how does it affect the woman?
Choose a theme from a midwife's perspective and search for three
relevant research articles dealing with the theme. Write a short review of the book based on the questions above and then report on the results of the articles. Then do an analysis of what the book is about based on the research articles you have chosen.
The work is presented in discussion form (30min), all other students act as opponents and comment on the work at the presentation.
Feedback is given in writing to each student after the seminar.
