    General picture of the shipping and customs clearance process and the documents needed for foreign trade
    Students have the ability to retrieve information from various sources and understand the importance of the accuracy and reliability of the information.
    Students can act ethically and communicate professionally.
    Students are aware of issues related to sustainability and responsible action in international trade.

    Learning methods

    To give the student the knowledge and ability of handling international trade issues such as export and import management. She/he gets familiar with the following issues: export or import process, incoterms, documents, transportation and customs.

    - Practically manage transactions related to export and import in a company
    - To know the meaning of Incoterms
    - Have the ability to prepare documents that are needed in foreign trade
    - Have readiness to implement instructions needed in forwarding and customs clearance

    Teaching methods:
    Lectures, group works and -discussions.

    Course Assessments:
    Exam (40 p) - compulsory - 60% of course grade
