    Competence objectives of the study unit
    After completing the course, students are expected to have knowledge of designing production current internal combustion engines. She will master the thermodynamic and combustion engineering basics as well as constructive aspects of manufacturing methods, material selection, etc. Students should also have knowledge of emissions from diesel and otto engines and how to reduce them.

    Able to answer and ask questions regarding motor engineering terms orally and in writing.

    - select and plan different engine technology applications.
    - select and design solutions that affect the internal combustion engine.
    - calculate mass forces, torques and vibrations in the internal combustion engine.
