The course is assessed based on the exercises as well as the student's activity and understanding of the topics.
In order to pass, the exercises must be successfully completed.
The exercises are assessed on a scale from 0-5 and the assessment also condsiders the student's understanding
- of the climate perfomance of wooden buildings
- of the principals for conducting a Life Cycle Assessment for wooden constructions
The course grade will be based on the results from the exercises combined with the student's activity during the course.

Note! Part of the course demands participation on site. Students who are absent should notify the teacher well in advance and do a replacement assignment. Students shall be aware that the course entails costs for travel and accommodation.

Excursions are held in co-operation with business and industry.
All mandatory parts will be completed during the course realization time.

- Part of the course is held as online studies i.e., lectures tied to time but not to place.
- Excursion. Not possible to participate online. Possible replacement assignment for students that cannot participate on site.
- Some lectures to be held at Campus Raseborg (or equivalent). On-site presence is recommended. Participation online is limited.

Additional to lectures, students shall be prepared to study for several hours a week.
The student has not demonstrated sufficient basic knowledge in the subject. That is, either the student lacks approved parts or he or she performs below 40% of the total combined points of the exercises.
The course grade 1-5 is based on the exercise results according to a linear grade scale.
