Methods of teaching:
The course is online, the course platform is Moodle.
You will take part in online lectures (recorded), occasional group tasks, practice on interactive exercises and read or watch study materials such as videos, presentations, articles and other literature.
Part 1 (1 cr) The Nordic Welfare Model, Social Services and Social Work:
Individual written assignment where you compare the role of the state, municipalities, private companies, NGOs and civil society regarding welfare services between one Nordic country and another outside the Nordic region. The assignment ends with a short discussion in forum on different welfare models strengths and challenges. For more information, see Moodle.

The student can account for the literature, reflect and motivate his/her views
Assessment criteria for assignment:
The student has followed the instructions for the written assignment and shows insufficient knowledge about the other students' written assignments. The student has mastered the substance of her/his work, but the application is limited.

Criteria for evaluation of the exam:
The student shows in her/his assignments an in-depth knowledge and maturity beyond the traditional.
Assessment criteria for assignment:
The student has followed the instructions for the assignment and shows that she/he has mastered the substance. She/he has read the other participants' assignments and can ask relevant questions and lead a discussion. The assignment shows something out of the ordinary (technical execution, presentation, mature reflections, independent working methods).
