- can define as concepts care lines, care limitations and anticipatory care plan for the final stages of life and understand their significance in the implementation of palliative care.
- knows the organization levels of palliative care and the service system as well as consultation channels
- can draw up a plan for palliative care and care in the final stages of life together with the patient and her relatives, the doctor in charge and the other interprofessional team
- can identifiy ethical and legal aspects associated with the final stages in life
- can identify care needs and provide symptom-controlled and individual palliative care and end-of-life care
- understand the importance of relatives and active role in treatment in palliative care work.
- understand the importance of treating, supporting and guiding the patient and relatives with feeling and empathy.
