Description

This further education is designed for people who are studying to become an Civil and Construction Engineer, or any other suitable field close to construction and HVAC, and who wish to gain competence in HVAC design. Courses mainly consists of HVAC technology and HVAC design, that are part of the graduate engineering program at Novia Campus in Raseborg, supplemented by individual tasks in HVAC design. This further education in HVAC design however does not give a degree.

An important goal in this further education is that it prepares you to take a central role in creating sustainable and climate-smart buildings. Issues related to sustainability and a more climate-smart society are included in the courses. Of the UN's 17 goals for sustainable development according to AGENDA 2030 objectives 3 (Good health and well-being), 6 (Clean water and sanitation), 7 (Affordable and clean energy), 11 (Sustainable cities and communities and 13 (Climate action) are most central in this further education.

Objective

Students gain knowledge in HVAC design, so that they can start working with HVAC technology and design, and that in combination with suitable degree and work experience can achieve eligibility requirements to be responsible designers for demanding HVAC design tasks.
