    Competence objectives of the study unit
    Have an understanding of binary logic and truth tables as well as knowledge of logical circuits and components.
    Master the principles of design and simulation of simple digital circuits and have general knowledge of microcontroller programming at binary level.

    Number systems, codes and number conversion.
    Logical algebra and gate circuits.
    Logical functions and combinatorics.
    Locking signals.
    Circuit reduction with Karnaugh diagram.
    Digital flip-flops.
    555's internal function and its applications.
    The basics of microcontroller technology.
    Low level programming in Assembler.
