Objective

Master´s Thesis 1

The student
- can plan and develop a suitable objective and research project
- can choose a suitable method for the project
- has written a description of the research problem following principles in academic writing
- can present the thesis project
- is able to revise the project after receiving feedback.

Content

Focus in the first part of the thesis is put on the research project, its problem and planned method and schedule. The student also begins writing a literature review for the thesis. A research plan is handed in and orally presented.

Location and time

Most probably either half-day, ie morning or afternoon but will be communicated through TEAMS.

Place: Depending on the Corona situation but most probably as usual hybrid, room Soya and Thomas' Webex room.

Teaching methods

Discussions about Research, Q&As, oral presentation of research plan, discussion about it and potential improvement of the plan. Handed-in final plan. Approved plan.

Further information

To hand in, present and get the research plan approved is a must for the thesis work.
