Course for Ship Security Officer
The course has been designed in accordance with the STCW Convention regulation VI/5 and the STCW Code section A-VI/5, the framework given in the IMO Model Course “Ship Security Officer” and the requirements given in the ISPS Code, part A, paragraph 13.2, and part B, paragraphs 13.1, 13.2 and 18.1. This course also fulfils the requirements set out for Company Security Officer and Port Facility Security Officer. The course has comprised a total of 24 hours of instruction and practical exercises.
