Objective

The student gains basic knowledge in
- the chemistry of hydrogen
- how hydrogen is produced
- the different colors of hydrogen
- what hydrogen is used for (industry, energy storage, traffic)
- electrolysis of water to produce green hydrogen
- Power-to-X (P2X)
- transport of hydrogen gas
- green transition using hydrogen
- interesting hydrogen projects in the region and their importance to the public and industry

Basic knowledge in chemistry for understanding the properties of hydrogen gas
Traditional production of hydrogen and possibilities for producing green hydrogen
Traditional and future use of hydrogen
Industrial hydrogen processes
Sustainable development of our society with the help of hydrogen
Review of hydrogen projects in Ostrobothnia and the rest of Finland
