Objective

The student:
- can apply the trigonometry of the right-angeled triangle
- can solve polynomial equations and graphically interpret polynomial functions
- can denote and calculate arithmetic and geometric series
- understand how to use mathematical functions and models to describe scientific phenomena
- can make calculations with growth functions
- understands causes and sees opportunities in using logarithmic and exponential functions
- can use basic logarithmic rules to solve exponential equations
- knows the concepts of limit value and derivatives and can apply rules for simple functions
