- basics of acoustic design of a building

- site-specific humidity management
- global environmental objectives on wooden constructions

- heat loss from the mantle of the building
- repair and improvement of energy efficiency
The student is able to identify
- special features of well-insulated structures

Fire, Acoustics and Building Physics of Wood and Hybrid Structures
Qualifications
At least a few years of basic work experience in the design practices of large buildings in Finland.
Assessment criteria, approved/failed
Completion of the course requires active attendance and participation in the teaching and passing the exercises. The exercises are given in writing and are graded on a pass (or fail) scale.
