- site requirements for a wooden building

The student is able to calculate and examine
- assessment of the moisture behavior of the wood product

The student is able to identify
- mechanical operation of frame systems
- effects of frame system characteristics
- sources of moisture in wooden structures
- structural lateral displacements

Industrial Wood Construction Frame Systems

Qualifications

At least a few years of basic work experience in the design practices of large buildings in Finland.

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

Completion of the course requires active attendance and participation in the teaching and passing the exercises. The exercises are given in writing and are graded on a pass (or fail) scale.
