The Student:
- has basic knowledge of the historical background and theological starting points of the Diaconal work and Christian youth work
- knows concepts related to spirituality and can reflect on their own spiritual identity
- knows the creed and basic teachings of the Lutheran Church and their impact on diaconal work and Christian youth work

Content

- different theological starting points for diaconal work and Christian youth work
- theological concepts associated with diaconal work and Christian youth work
- parish-based professional identity
- language for theological conversations and reflection
- church books: Bible, hymn book, catechism, creeds, confessionals and church manuals

The student has an immerse competence and shows a deeper understanding of the subject in relation to the upcoming profession

The partial examinations are carried out on your own at your own pace. All partial examinations must be completed when the completion is completed.

Student workload

The course includes 5 credits. This means a total of 5 x 27 h = 135 h of work for you as a student. The modules in Moodle show workload per module.
