After completing this course, the student is expected to:
• Understand how a game engine works.
• Understand how rendering functions within a game engine.
• Create and use 2D objects in the game engine.
• Create lighting in the game engine.
• Use the camera in the game engine.
• Implement 2D collision detection in the game engine.
• Use audio in the game engine.
• Handle input in the game engine.
• Script or program to develop a functional game.
• Export the game to various platforms.
• Understand the interconnection between energy usage, framerate, resolution, rendering, hardware load, and their implications for player experience and distribution.
• Test and analyze changes in energy usage and hardware load when adjusting framerate, resolution, and rendering frequency.
