Game Design

The learning goals of the study period (course)
After completing this course, the student is expected to:
• have an understanding on how a game engine works
• have an understanding on how the 2D and 3D rendering works in a game engine
• be capable of creating and using 2D and 3D objects in the game engine
• be capable of creating lighting in the game engine
• be capable of using the camera in the game engine
• be capable of using 2D and 3D collision detection in the game engine
• be capable of using audio in the game engine
• be capable of using input in the game engine
• be capable of scripting or programming to be able to get a functional game
• be capable of exporting the game to various platforms

The student
