After completing this course, the student is expected to:

• Understand how a game engine works.
• Understand how 2D and 3D rendering works in a game engine.
• Be capable of creating and using 2D and 3D objects in a game engine.
• Be capable of creating lighting in a game engine.
• Be capable of using the camera in a game engine.
• Be capable of using 2D and 3D collision detection in a game engine.
• Be capable of using audio in a game engine.
• Be capable of handling input in a game engine.
• Be capable of scripting or programming to create a functional game.
• Be capable of using shaders.
• Be capable of exporting the game to various platforms.
• Understand the benefits and limitations of different game engines to make deliberate decisions when choosing an engine.
