The student
- obtains knowledge of laboratory tests and specimen collection
- obtains knowledge about, pain, elimination , and demonstrate skills in helping a client with urinary and fecal problems (ss. catheterization and ostomy care)
- obtains knowledge about altered nutrition and demonstrate skills in enteral nutrition,
- understands the importance of diagnostic investigations, laboratory tests and ECG and be able to assist with these procedures
- understands sustainable development according to economics and environment
- obtains knowledge about patient safety, ethics and cultural aspects in different nursing contexts
