The Student:

- demonstrates knowledge of the human life cycle, including physical, psychological, cognitive, and social development at different life stages
- applies theoretical frameworks and current research related to health promotion and disease prevention in nursing care
- understands and implements the levels of prevention (primary, secondary, and tertiary) in clinical and community-based settings
- describes the fundamentals of epidemiology and analyzes the role of health determinants in shaping population health and disease patterns
- identifies health risks in patients and recognizes the importance of early support and intervention at the individual level
- demonstrates basic knowledge of adult healthcare, including the purpose and use of various screening examinations
- collaborates within interprofessional teams to plan and carry out interventions that promote health and functional ability for individuals and groups
- applies different guidance and counseling methods, including motivational interviewing, to support behavior change and enhance patient self-care
- reflects on ethical considerations in health promotion and education
