The Student:
- demonstrates knowledge of nursing care for the most common diseases within the cardiovascular, respiratory, gastrointestinal, urological, and nephrological systems
- can assess patients' care needs and effectively plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care using evidence-based knowledge and clinical reasoning
- masters core evidence-based nursing care methods, including relevant clinical examinations and functional assessments essential to internal medical and surgical care
- can perform care planning and documentation following the Finnish classification system for nursing (FinCC)
- can integrate health-promoting and preventive care strategies into both internal medicine and surgical nursing contexts
- is capable of guiding and supporting patients throughout their care and rehabilitation processes, with an emphasis on patient-centered and holistic care
