The Student:
- understands and uses familiar everyday expressions and fundamental phrases related to concrete needs
- introduces themselves and others and asks and answers basic questions about personal details such as place of residence, people they know, and things they have
- communicates in a simple manner when the other person speaks slowly and clearly and is willing to assist
- uses simple phrases and sentences to describe where they live and people they know
- reads and understands simple sentences and frequently used words in materials such as advertisements, posters, and catalogues
- writes short and straightforward messages and notes
- fills in forms with personal details, such as name, nationality, and address in contexts like hotel registration, internship bookings

Understanding and Listening Skills
- recognizing and understanding very basic phrases and expressions
- comprehending simple spoken language when delivered slowly and clearly

Speaking Skills
- introducing oneself and others
- asking and answering questions about personal details (name, nationality, address, etc.)
- using basic phrases to describe familiar topics (e.g., family, home, work, hobbies)

Reading Skills
- reading and understanding short, simple texts (e.g., signs, posters, advertisements, basic forms)
- identifying very common words and phrases in written material

Writing Skills
- writing short messages, notes, and personal details (e.g., on forms and in emails)
