Objective
The student: 
- takes part in a multiprofessional team and create a natural caring relationship with the patient 
- communicates with patients and colleagues in Swedish or Finnish, the main supervision will be carried out in Swedish or Finnish 
- follows the general rules and routines in a working environment
- independently assess the elderly patient´s  caring needs, plan for interventions, as well as take part in the implementation of the plan and the evaluation of the given nursing care
- makes decisions concerning the eldery patient´s individual nursing care, under supervision and with increasing independence
- implements the nursing process for elderly patients with multiple diseases and understand holisitic care
- can perform safe drug administration
- documents and gives verbal reports of given nursing care, under supervision and with increasing independence
- understands the administration of a ward, perform necessary procedures when receiving a patient
- demonstrates ability to guide colleagues and students
- demonstrate skills to work in a team and as a team leader
