The Student:​
- is familiar with the Finnish language​
- ​has basic skills in both oral and written Finnish
- can introduce oneself and others, as well as ask and answer questions about family, friends, hobbies and living arrangements​
- understand and use easy everyday expressions in Finnish society​
- satisfactory understand and use basic phrases within everyday life and customer service​
- is able to interact with others in a simple, slow and clear dialogue​
