The student:
- knows the different pressures threatening our water bodies
- knows how water bodies are assessed and monitored
- is familiar with authorities and other actors conducting monitoring of aquatic bodies
- knows methods for improving the ecological state of water bodies

Content

- why and how is monitoring of aquatic bodies implemented
- laws and regulations at different levels
- visits to organizations carrying out monitoring
- sampling, analyses and assessments of different water bodies in practice
- mitigation measures
