The student:
- are aware of the fundamentals and standards of refrigeration and heat pumps
- knows the different forms of heat pumps
- understands the basic refrigeration processes and the Carnot’s theorem
- can dimension heat pump and refrigeration services and interpreting their schematic diagrams
- are aware of the different refrigerants and their outlooks on a general level
