- knows flow types and applications in different systems
- knows dimensioning of pumps for pipe systems
- knows different types of flow meters, pumps and fans

- continuity and Bernoulli’s equation
- laminar and turbulent flow
- calculation of pressure losses effects and flow rates in pipe systems
- flow meters, pumps and fans
