Objective

The student:
- knows how steel structures are planned, realised and maintained
- possesses adequate knowledge of the properties and use of structural steeland has a good command of dimensioning according to Eurocode 3 and according to the national Land Use and Building Act § 120 d and e (17.1.2014/41) normal and difficult tasks
- is also able to use building information modeling (BIM) techniques in the design phase.
