Objective

The student:
- is able to work in a structural design team for the planning of ordinary and more demanding wooden structures according to Eurocode 5 and according to the national Land Use and Building Act § 120 d and e (17.1.2014/41) normal and difficult tasks

Content

Sizing of:
- wooden columns and beams
- load-bearing structures with recesses and holes
- the disc effect in wooden control walls
- overall stability
- bolt and nail joints
- fire dimensioning
- CLT constructions

Qualifications

The educational modules Introduction to Building Techniques, Residential and Public Buildings, Mathematics and Building Mechanics, or similar knowledge
