The student:
- understands the effect of solar radiation on heating and cooling loads
- understands how thermal mass effect indoor temperature conditions
- can perform calculations for multistorey buildings with degree hours, analyze the results and suggest actions for improved results
- can generate and interpret results of energy simulations for different heating systems in single-family houses
