Competence objectives of the study period (course)
The student:
- is familiar with the history of photography from 1839 to the beginning of World War 2
- understands the cultural factors behind design
- knows how to interpret how the phenomena and values of the time have influenced the design throughout the history
- knows the basics of the development of design and the industrial arts and their history before the beginning of World War 2
