Objective

The student

- can define and explain basic concepts in vocal production.

- master vocal techniques, microphone types, signal paths and sound acoustics related to vocal recording

- have technical knowledge of vocal recording and editing

- master vocal editing techniques such as pitch and timing correction, noise reduction and dynamic processing

- can apply various vocal effects and process, shape and enhance the vocal track

- can collaborate and communicate with vocalists during the recording process.

- Technical knowledge of vocal recording and editing.
- Pitch and timing correction, noise reduction and dynamic processing.
- Use of different vocal effects and processing methods to shape and enhance the vocal track.
- Learning to collaborate and communicate with vocalists during a recording process to achieve the desired result.
