Objective
After completing the course, the student is expected to be able to:
- Plan, implement, analyse and evaluate instrumental teaching for students at beginner level.
- Analyse and evaluate the learning and teaching process with special regard to the beginner level.
- Apply and reflect on different didactic methods in instrumental teaching at beginner level.
- Use their musical thinking in a teacher perspective.
- Reflect on their own way of thinking and acting in the pedagogical process.
- Demonstrate awareness of the ethical and social dimensions of teaching.
Content
- Instrumental teaching with practice students under supervision at beginner level through individual and group teaching.
- Analysing and evaluating learning processes with a focus on the beginner level.

Assessment criteria, approved/failed
To pass the course, the student must fulfil the learning outcomes and course content and submit a reflection report.
