Objective

At the end of the traineeship, the student is expected to

-be able to function constructively, consolidate their skills and the ability to smoothly influence the teaching and learning process

-apply subject knowledge and different pedagogical and didactic theories, try out different approaches and methods of group teaching

-be able to realise teaching at an appropriate level and with adapted and varied material and content

be able to co-operate, work collegially and be aware of factors affecting the teacher and the profession

- in consultation with fellow students and supervisors, be able to analyse and argue about teaching, the teacher's role, students and group dynamics

Content

- A total of 40 lessons of teaching and self-teaching during a 2-week training period in e.g. basic art education, non-formal education, secondary education.
- Students are exposed to the various tasks of the teacher and the activities of the organisation as a whole.

Qualifications

Introductory traineeships and fieldwork training

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

Completed traineeship according to course content and submission of traineeship report.

Further information

Traineeship 3 should preferably be carried out at a different training organisation and location than where the initial traineeship was carried out.
