After passing the course the student is expected to:
- be able to define, identify and describe basic concepts in building measurements
- be able to understand basic principles for building measurements
- be able to explain and defend the basic principles of building measurement
- be able to choose the method for building measurements, depending on the measurement problem you have

- frame measurements
- conversion of drawing dimensions into coordinates.
- release calculations based on coordinates

- release of details on a construction site
- Digital Terrain Models and volume calculation
