Objective

The student:

Can, in an interprofessional team, plan, execute, evaluate, document and report person-centered/client-centered care in collaboration with the patient and relatives and demonstrate a reflective and ethical approach in care

Has knowledge of the central legislation and governing documents in palliative care (and death)

Master the central evidence based care methods in palliative care and can prevent and give symptom relieving care in different care and service system

Can plan, execute and evaluate safe medication management

Can accommodate different needs and provide support with spiritual, existential and cultural needs at the end of life

Can, in an interprofessional team, meet, support and guide patients and relatives in palliative care and death
