Assessment criteria, fail (0)

The student has not followed the instructions of the assignments and demonstrates a lack of understanding of the course material.
The assignments are inadequate or lacking.
The student has not participated during the course.

Assessment criteria, satisfactory (1-2)

The student has partly followed the instructions of the assignments and demonstrates a basic understanding of the course material.
The contents of submitted assignments are satisfactory.
The student has participated in the course, but the commitment and activity have been low or satisfactory.

Assessment criteria, good (3-4)

The student demonstrates a good understanding of the course material and is able to draw on the literature.
The student can reflect on and motivate their point of view.
The student has almost or completely fulfilled the instructions of the assignments.
The contents of submitted assignments are good.
The student has participated actively in the course and demonstrates commitment towards the course contents and course assignments.

Assessment criteria, excellent (5)

The student has fulfilled the instructions of the assignments and demonstrates an excellent understanding of the course material.
The contents of submitted assignments are excellent and the assignments have been executed exceptionally well.
The student has been active during the course and demonstrates extra commitment towards and interest in the course contents and course assignments.
The student has a deep understanding of the course contents and is able to use that knowledge in their future profession.
