The student will be able to:
- describe the properties of concrete, its areas of application, methods of use and common types of construction
- use basic concepts in concrete technology
- outline the regulations governing concrete construction
- outline the significance of concrete technology from a building design perspective and from a technical, economic and environmental perspective

Concrete bases, intrinsic objects and purposes
- The additives of the concrete.
- Concrete exposure classes.
- Proportioning of concrete.
- Concrete hardening.
- Reinforcement methods, drawing symbols and quality.
- Concrete molds.
- Winter concrete
