Objective
The student will be able to:
- understand the overall picture of construction project planning involving many parties and companies
- work effectively as part of a project planning team in a larger work community in the role of junior assistant HVAC engineer
- work independently, take responsibility and learn new things as a team member in the work community of a larger company involved in building project planning
Content
The content of the course is based on the course-specific and individual competences and learning outcomes (above).
Based on these and from the students' individual career planning, the content and goals for the individual student are tailored in a collaboration between students, supervisors at the company and the supervisor at the university. The individual goals are subscribed to in "Contracts for the structural engineering at an engineering office".
Qualifications
The Educational Modules Introduction to Building Techniques, Residential and Public Buildings, Mathematics and Practical training, or similar knowledge
Assessment criteria, approved/failed
The course is graded on a pass/fail basis. To pass the course, students must demonstrate satisfactory performance in the company and in their assignments (work diary and report) as well as in the final presentation.
