Objective

The student will be able to:
- explain contract law in the organisation of a construction project
- explain the quality criteria and the occupational safety requirements in the building sector and knows how to apply them
- using contractual documents to organise and carry out project management and quality assurance for design assignments and construction projects

Content

- Contract practice in the organization of building projects including general terms and conditions for construction contracting and consulting
- Quality criteria and occupational safety requirements, procedures and procedures in the building industry in the building industry
- Specific quality requirements that are set on the various components throughout the construction process
- Organization and execution of project management and quality assurance of design assignments and construction projects based on contract documents
- Project management, tasks and roles - leading people and processes: motivate, lead projects, set goals and follow them up, lead and work in teams, delegate, manage conflicts and develop skills

Qualifications

The educational modules Introduction to Building Techniques and Residential and Public Buildings, or similar knowledge

Assessment criteria, approved/failed

The course is graded on a pass/fail basis.
The course requires active attendance and participation in lectures and compulsory exercises.
To pass the course, the student must receive a passing grade on all assignments and presentations.
