Objective

The student will be able to:
- prepare a life cycle analysis/climate declaration for a small house using LCA software and report the results in accordance with applicable requirements
- communicate the climate impact of the construction sector and relate it to their own role as a player in the construction industry in order to reduce the sector's climate impact
- identify factors that affect a building's climate impact and influence them
- analyse the environmental impact of building materials and compare them
- report and present results in a scientific and easily understandable manner

- Introduction to current climate policy, legislation and standards
- Preparation of a life cycle analysis/climate declaration for buildings using LCA software
- Low-carbon construction and circular economy
- Environmentally friendly building materials and environmental product declarations

The educational modules Introduction to Building Techniques and the math course Functions and Equations 1, or similar knowledge
