Objective

The student is able to:
- know and explain basic concepts and standards for refrigeration technology and heat pumps
- know and explain the most common types of heat pumps
- and understand the basic processes of refrigeration technology and the Carnot cycle
- dimension heat pump and cooling systems and interpret the connection diagrams for the systems, and
- is familiar with the different types of refrigerants and their future prospects at a general level.

Content

- fundamentals and standards of refrigeration and heat pumps
- theory of refrigeration processes
- tasks of schematic diagrams and dimensioning of heat pump and refrigeration services

Qualifications

The Educational Modules Introduction to Building Techniques and The Residential and Public Buildings and the courses in Thermodynamics, or similar knowledge
