Objective
The student will be able to:
- master the basics of Building Information Modelling (BIM) and 3D modelling of building services
- work on projects that utilise BIM for the efficient implementation of HVAC design
- perform collision checks, create coordination models and apply Information Takeoff (ITO) in BIM, and
- is familiar with the general BIM requirements (YTV) and how they are applied in HVAC planning

- fundamental processes and working methods of HVAC design in BIM with different software’s
- HVAC design modelling tasks with collision reports and assembly models
Qualifications
The courses of Ventilation and Air Conditioning, Heating and Heat Distribution and Water and Drainage Systems or corresponding studies, or similar knowledge
Assessment criteria, approved/failed
The course is graded on a pass/fail basis.
The course requires active attendance and participation in lectures and compulsory exercises.
To pass the course, the student must receive a passing grade on all assignments and presentations.
