Objective
The student will be able to:
- describe and explain the meaning of Novia University of Applied Sciences' rules for degree projects, general research ethics requirements, that there are different forms of knowledge and the most common research methodss
- develop and refine problems, and anchor these in an engineering frame of reference based on previous practical and theoretical knowledge within their area of expertise.
- draw up a plan for their own research or development work and assess the quality of such work and research reports

The Courses Introduction to Academic Studies and Swedish or similar knowledge
Assessment criteria, approved/failed
The course is graded on a pass/fail basis.
The course requires active attendance and participation in lectures and compulsory exercises.
To pass the course, the student must receive a passing grade on all assignments and presentations.
