The student is able to:
- understand the concepts of the most common systems in ventilation and air conditioning technology
- dimension ducts and air flows for ventilation systems
- be familiar with common products, dimensioning programmes and manufacturers in ventilation and air conditioning
- analyse practical problems in air conditioning systems
- understand the acoustic principles of ventilation systems and how noise can be reduced
- be familiar with the basics of fire safety in ventilation
- use CAD programmes for planning small ventilation systems, and
- knows and can apply regulations and manuals on ventilation and air conditioning

Qualifications

The Educational Modules Introduction to Building Techniques and The Residential and Public Buildings and the courses in thermodynamics, or similar knowledge
